Josh McKenney's Winning Ways

March 5, 2007

Skowhegan, ME:  Josh McKenney had another all-star weekend at his home track in front of all of his friends and family. He picked up where he left off last weekend in Ossipee, NH.

He began Saturday by winning the heat race for improved stock class. He followed that up by leading every lap of the feature race to pick up his first feature win of the weekend. Next he jumped onto his Hight Motorsports 120cc modified sled. He raced hard and aggressively against his friend Chance Whittemore. Even though he wore some paint off the front bumper he couldnt get around him and had to settle 2nd place for the day.

Sunday morning Josh showed up ready for another great day of racing. Again in the improved stock class Josh won his heat race and the feature in convincing fashion to complete the sweep in the division for the weekend. When it came time for the modified division Josh was ready to repeat his performance from last Sunday. Josh took the checkered flag in the heat race with an easy win. For the feature he got a great hole shot and sprung into the lead from the starting line. He held off the competitors for the entire race leading again from green until checkers for his second modified feature win in as many weeks! Congratulations Josh on a great weekend!

When it came time for the final in the Mod division, he jumped out to an early lead and again led from green to checkers to capture his first win of the year in the Modified division! Congratulations from your family and the entire Hight Motorsports crew!
